I'm Natasha. Writer, mum, wife.
Ever since I can remember I've enjoyed reading about crime, whether that's true crime or crime fiction. I'm always in line to watch the next new detective shows (like Dexter - one of my favourites) and my husband often mentions how I work out whodunnit almost every time.
My favourite TV detective of all time is Columbo - he's funny, to the point, and he always gets his man. Not to mention 'just one more thing'. I loved Dexter, the lovable serial killer, and Killing Eve is both funny and dramatic.
Then there's the real life killers. People like Peter Sutcliffe, Ted Bundy, and even Jack the Ripper. The things these men did were so repulsive that it's impossible to comprehend. Questions about why they would do such things, wondering about what went on in their heads - to me it's both fascinating and terrifying.
And I guess that's why I'm a writer - but that's not all I am.

As a mum to two boys, aged 11 and 15, I start my days by ushering them to school. Sorting breakfast, making sure homework is in school bags and making packed lunches. By 8am the boys have left for school and my husband has left for work, and I have the quiet house to myself.
I love spending that quiet time writing, filling the pages of my book. Of course there's always research to be done, whether that's reading books or talking to people in-the-know. But that's okay, the research is one of my favourite things to do. Learning about how the human body works, or how the police deal with certain situations, helps me to write accurate and intriguing stories to keep you hooked.
Writing aside I love being a mum and a wife. My family makes my daily life fun, hectic, and wonderful. Spending time together during the school holidays makes me smile even when they've gone back to school.
