Last week I saw my youngest go back to school and this week my eldest starts
college. I've spent a good amount of time sorting out school related
paraphernalia for my boys but I've also made time for myself. That's why I
love writing these updates on what I've been reading, listening to, and watching - it helps me keep track of what I've done as well as giving you
  recommendations. So here's another instalment.
Reading
Reading In a House of Lies has taken longer than I expected, mainly because
there's been less time but I've also been surprised by how little I've enjoyed
reading the book. The story hasn't been gripping enough and I've found myself
avoiding reading - I'm just working through it so I can move on.
The next book on my list is another recommendation from the Hubby (there's a
surprise!). He suggested I read some books by John Locke - the Dani Ripper
series. I'm hoping they'll be more gripping.

You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.

Listening
With the kids at home it's a nightmare trying to listen to podcasts, I get
interrupted so often it's like listening to it one word at a time throughout
the day. It just doesn't work. So I've resorted to having Netflix series on
in the background. It's usually documentaries or something crime related to
    help me with my ideas.

Watching
We finished watching The Good Wife, and quickly moved on to The Good Fight.
While The Good Fight starts out well I'm afraid the later series aren't as
good and if there are any more we probably won't watch them.

Over the weekends we've watched some great movies on our movie nights. We've
gone through the more recent Bond movies - Casino Royale, Skyfall, Spectre,
as well as some old favourites like Shallow Hal and Run Fat Boy Run. I've
come to really look forward to our Saturday nights (although it may also
have something to do with the alcohol!).

Go on then. Eject me. See if I care.
M, Skyfall

Recently we started watching Cougar Town - another favourite of ours. It's
funny and entertaining, a great thing to watch at the end of the day.
