These curated lists seem to come around so fast! As usual I'm going to let you know what I've been reading, listening to, and watching the last few weeks. First though I want to tell you why I chose these things to share. It's because these things are what I spend most of my time doing when I'm not writing. I love reading, especially when I find a good book, I enjoy listening to music or discovering new podcasts, and watching TV shows and movies has been something the Hubby and I have enjoyed for years.
Reading
Since the last time I wrote I started and finished book 2 in the Dani Ripper series of books by John Locke called Promise You Won't Tell. A review will follow in the next few weeks but until then I can tell you it's a good book. Again a quick and fun read that was easy to get through. I have since moved on to Teacher, Teacher, another book by John Locke. I'm only a few chapters in but it's good so far.

Listening
Again I've been sticking to the classical music or not having anything on. We've had a painter at the house recently sorting out our windows outside so I've had to have no music on so I could hear if he was knocking on the door. Then last week I started listening to podcasts again and I'm back into They Walk Among Us podcast. If you like to hear about True Crime it's an interesting listen.
Watching
We got through Cougar Town in record time, it's one of those series that's easy to watch and keeps you entertained. We almost started again from the beginning but thought better of it. Instead we continued with House of Cards while working and chose a couple of other series we enjoy.
Lost made the cut and we're enjoying watching the group discover the hatch and fight with 'the others'. After watching the series a number of times already it's an easy watch because we know what's coming. We also chose Glee, which is quite a contrast to Lost and that is part of the reason we chose it. Glee is about music and although there's drama it's light and entertaining. We usually end our night with an episode of Glee. We both love singing along with the songs!
If we can't live together, we're going to die alone.
Dr. Jack Shephard, Lost
Another TV series that has made the cut recently is Norsemen on Netflix. It was a recommendation by one of the Hubby's friends and I'm not sure how much I'm enjoying it. I do laugh occasionally but it's a strange series that involves vikings and fighting which is not really my thing. We're continuing with it but I'm not really looking forward to watching if that makes sense?
Our Saturday movie night continues and we finished the original Superman series of movies up to Superman 4. The boys were surprised there were so many of them but enjoyed watching, so that was a win. After Superman we watched the Back To The Future series of movies, which is are classics. The Hubby and I love them and our youngest said he had never seen them so that decided it for us. Over two weekends we watched all three movies and have decided that family movie night is something we want to continue. So we're planning on watching lots of old movies from the 80s and 90s, E.T. is on the list but if you can think of any you think we should watch let me know.
